I became a Master Gardener in 1995 and I take care of several perennial gardens at home. They include a raspberry patch, an area of asparagus, rhubarb and onions and garlic, plus flower beds of different types and sizes. We are in Zone 3-4, depending on where you are standing in our yard. My husband plants a vegetable garden each year, and he has some fruit trees, and he likes to plant trees out behind the pastures to provide cover and food for wildlife.
Around the first of the year I started some rhododendrons from seed, following directions that I found online. They are doing very well, and I have 10 in individual pots now that are getting their third sets of leaves. DK
